Our Mission..
Concordia Preparatory School (formerly known as Salt Lake Lutheran High School) is built upon the grace of God in Jesus Christ. Motivated by God’s merciful Word, we are a community that proclaims the Christian faith, provides an excellent academic program, and promotes an environment that leads to success.
Founded in 1984, Concordia is owned and operated by seven congregations in the Salt Lake area. Since its inception, Concordia has been committed to serving the secondary education needs of the Salt Lake Valley, grounding its curriculum in the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With its faith-based education at its core, Concordia excels in academics, athletics, activities, and daily enhancing the spiritual life of our students.
Concordia is a Registered Service Organization of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The LCMS operates the largest Protestant school system in the nation. There are over 1000 Lutheran Schools in the nation, and Concordia is the only Lutheran High School in Utah.
